An old weepie (tearjerker) written by Karl Davis and Harty Taylor in 1934 and featured on the Everly Brothers 1958 album, ‘Songs Our Daddy Taught Us’. Recorded by lots of other artists also ( some truly awful versions). Here’s another one to add to the mix – complete with attractive chaplinesque winter cold sore.
